Expectedly slow on a Wed night at 6:30p, 1 week after opening, but it's got great promise, and worth a return visit. The things I've heard, like "cool scene, upscale, organic ingredients, AA owned, late night dining, neo-soul food, turntable, dj, lounge, nightspot, beautiful" rang true for the most part. Except...for the lounge area, it needs a little more work to feel inviting. Check reviews in Yelp and SF Chronicle | Photo |

Still a sleeper to some, but to those in the know, this Natoma Street bar/lounge (off 2nd between Mission and Howard) has guaranteed good drinks, no cover, great beats and a fun crowd every Friday, especially after 9p when DJ Consuelo is in the house. I've heard it's good after work Wed - Fri too. |

Only 4 months old, and a secret to most. Nice vibe, rotating djs w/good beats, nice change of place. Comes with an outside patio too.
A different DJ spins different tunes each night--such as jazz, indie, funk and Latin--and a small section of the bar area doubles as a dance floor. |

Yep, on Saturday
nights you'll even hear some Motown oldies mixed
in. The decibel level creeps as the night gets
longer, but you'll survive. And hey, the drinks aren't cheap... |

Great interior. Dine downstairs with jazz Wed - Fri (7p - 10p, but call first!), party upstairs in club area. Type of party depends on promoter for the evening. Upstairs (Prive' Lounge) is a very chic club, regularly offering popular promoter driven events. |
|
A cool new spot at the corner of Broadway and Embarcadero in Oakland...yes Oakland! Could this be a Paragon alternative? Very nice bar/lounge restaurant feel...great for drinks...nice digs, good ambiance..even a live band on occasion. Worth a drive by, but it's still building it's clientele. |
